About Amanda Boer.
Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker working under supervision toward her private independent practice license. She is a trained EMDR therapist, Brainspotting practitioner, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), and certified Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master. She has completed extensive training in somatics, mindfulness, hypnosis, developmental trauma, and creative integrative therapies.

As a mother to a childhood cancer survivor, Amanda brings a deeply personal understanding of medical trauma, chronic stress, and life-altering transitions. Her lived experience shapes her ability to connect with clients who are navigating uncertainty, overwhelm, or long-term healing journeys.

Amanda is known for her work in holistic wellness and experiential healing, offering a truly integrative mind-body-spirit approach to therapy. She blends EMDR, somatic work, yoga, meditation, energy healing, and creative expression to support nervous system regulation, trauma healing, and emotional clarity.
Her areas of special interest include spirituality, ADHD, AuDHD, anxiety, LGBTQ+ identity, intuition, and personal transformation.
Professional Leadership & Creative Background
Amanda has facilitated numerous holistic workshops through Indie Blossom Creative, focusing on yoga, meditation, energy work, and experiential art. She has served in mentorship and academic roles, including teaching at the University of Sioux Falls and leading in the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society.
Before her social work career, Amanda spent more than 16 years as a business owner in the arts, photography, and creative entrepreneurship—experience that enriches her ability to guide clients through identity exploration and life transitions.
