Jen holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with a Private Independent Practice (LCSW-PIP). She is recognized as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and holds national certification through the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed as a Certified Clinician (NADD-CC).
Jen is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) across the lifespan. She has worked in many professional roles, providing compassionate care, advocacy, and specialized services tailored to the unique needs of those she serves.
Lived Experience & Authentic Understanding
In addition to her professional background, Jen brings meaningful personal experience as a parent and caregiver to a child with intellectual and mental health challenges. This lived perspective deepens her empathy and connection with families navigating similar journeys and allows her to support clients on a truly authentic level.
Clinical Expertise
Jen has provided mental health and substance use services to youth and families within the justice system and continues to offer dual-diagnosis treatment for adolescents (12+) and adults. She is certified in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among many other therapeutic modalities.
Leadership, Writing &
Professional Service
As a leader in her field, Jen co-authored a published book chapter and has presented at conferences on topics related to ID/DD and mental health. She has served on multiple councils advocating for individuals with co-occurring intellectual and mental health challenges and is committed to community service and professional collaboration.
Supervision & Consultation
Outside of her clinical caseload, Jen provides social work supervision for interns and professionals pursuing licensure, as well as clinician-based consultation. Her supervision style emphasizes professional growth, reflection, confidence-building, and ethical clinical practice.
