The Art of Feeling

Art Group Sign-Up

At Linking the Gap, we offer a calm, welcoming space to slow down, create, and reconnect—no art experience needed. This counselor-led group is designed to gently support emotional processing, stress relief, and self-awareness through the use of creative expression and mindfulness.

Each session blends simple grounding practices, optional prompts (with full freedom for your own expression), and open art-making in a small, supportive group (max 8). The environment is intentionally low-pressure and nonjudgmental—there is no expectation to create something “good,” and no pressure to share unless you’d like to. This is a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

Using art as a tool can help access and process emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Many participants find that creating in this way brings a sense of calm, clarity, and connection, both within themselves and, at times, with others in the group.

This group is open to anyone who wants to join and may be especially supportive for those feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply in need of a consistent space to pause, reflect, and reset. Whether you attend once or return regularly, the intention is to offer a steady, supportive environment that meets you where you are.
