Dual Diagnosis Parent Support Group
Caring for a child or loved one with both developmental and mental health needs can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. Together in Two Worlds is a supportive parent group designed for caregivers of individuals with dual diagnoses, including autism, ADHD, intellectual and developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other mental health concerns.
This group provides practical tools, emotional support, and connection with other parents and caregivers who understand the unique challenges of navigating both developmental disabilities and mental health needs.
Together We Will Explore:
Navigating the day-to-day realities of dual diagnosis
Understanding developmental disabilities and mental health concerns
Advocating for your child and collaborating with schools, therapists, and healthcare providers
Building coping, regulation, and stress-management skills
Using positive behavior supports at home
Strengthening family communication and connection
Reducing caregiver burnout and increasing support
Connecting with other parents who understand your journey
